I do not accept insurance. I am out of network to avoid the hassles and delays created by insurance billing, coding, and approvals. Instead, I partner directly with you for my services.

This is a common question that arises. I have witnessed how the influence of the health insurance industry has shaped our healthcare system, often leading to rushed, impersonal, and complicated experiences when seeking basic primary care. One of my goals is to remove the barriers and negative experiences that individuals frequently encounter when trying to see a doctor and empower them to regain control of their health. To achieve this, I made significant changes to my practice. 

These changes involved:

• Removing my service from the constraints of insurance and establishing a direct partnership with my patients through a direct care model.
• I transitioned my practice to a virtual setting, enabling patients to consult with their doctor from the comfort of their own homes. 
• I reduced the number of patients I cared for to provide exceptional attention and support to each individual.

These changes resulted in a direct service that allows prompt access to an online doctor without the hassles of health insurance, ensuring a personalized and patient-centered approach. I intend to create an extraordinary healthcare experience and accompany my patients toward a healthy life. 

• No. I recommend maintaining care with the doctor within network with your health insurance. Patients need at least an in-person physical exam every year, and for medical needs that require in-person physical evaluation. As of this moment, I do not offer in-person visits.

Not at this moment. However, this service is expected to start this year. 

Your medical records will never be shared with any third party unless you specifically request us to do so or in the case of a subpoena or search warrant issued to Your Family MD.

My services can complement your coverage. Patients with a PPO insurance plan can seek reimbursement directly from their insurance company for medical services provided by Your Family MD. 

Medicare patients are not accepted at this time due to federal regulations.

Patients who have insurance can still use their insurance for labs, imaging, and medications at any facility of their choice, depending on their insurance coverage. For those without insurance, we have discounted prices for routine laboratory tests and negotiated discounted prices on imaging in South Florida.
